Cat lovers have known this for years, and neoclassical composer Tim Thompson took it one step beyond by collaborating on his music with his dear cat, Clyde Big Paws, Feline Unit 236.8v2 (but you can call him Clyde), star of ClydeSight2.0!
Clyde commented on Tim's music with his ears! He'd lay them flat if there was a sour note somewhere, and roll over and purr when the music pleased him. The result of this unique collaboration is the Symphonia Felina music album.
Symphonia Felina and Other Mewsical Masterworks is special among neoclassical music albums. Selections range from the playful Pomp and Purrcumstance to the eerie sci-fi theme to CATZILLA II to the scary Frankenstein - The Creation Scene, all themes to Clyde's many adventures.
The heart of the album is the poignant and deeply touching Symphonia Felina which Tim composed after Clyde died in 1997. It is dedicated to "cats, and their humans everywhere" and is a fully orchestrated four movement symphony that musically tells the story of life before, during, and after Clyde. The deeply felt second movement, "Devotion, the Bond of Love" rings true to every cat lover.
