COUNT MY TEXT! is
a simple to use document management utility program that is a word counter,
character counter, calculates space usage and line feed counts of any block
of text (up to 10,000 characters). It has an Optimize feature that will strip
out extra spaces and hidden codes to optimize text for proper character count
and efficient space usage on Internet submission sites (Classified ad sites,
PPC (pay per click) ads, forums, blog sites, press release sites and more.)
Note:
COUNT MY TEXT! is not a word processor. It does not contain a spell
or grammar checker. It is a character and word counter and optimizer. It
provides character information and helps remove mistakes that a word processor
may miss. As such it can be a valuable tool for document management
and other text formatting needs.

I can't
find any edit menu for cut and paste.
COUNT
MY TEXT! doesn't use menus like a word processor.
Cut, copy and paste are done using keyboard shortcuts, as explained in the
programs instruction screens. Highlight the text you want and then do one
of the following:
Cut: CTRL-X (WIN) or CMD-X (MAC)
Copy: CTRL-C (WIN) or CMD-C (MAC)
Paste: CTRL-V (WIN) or CMD-C (MAC)
UnDo: CTRL-Z (WIN) or CMD-Z (MAC)
Note that if you cut text from COUNT
MY TEXT!, you cannot paste it back in using the undo
sequence, although the paste sequence will work.

How

When I double click
on a character or code in the Code Reveal Box nothing happens.
The
Code Reveal Box in COUNT MY TEXT! is a report
of what is in your text. It is not interactive, just a report.

When I Optimized my
text, it removed indents I wanted to keep.
The
Optimize button in COUNT MY TEXT! causes the
program to find all redundant spaces and eliminate them. This gets rid of
extra spaces after a period, extra spaces between words and leading spaces.
If you want to preserve indents, you should not use the optimize feature,
or, you can optimize, then go back and re-insert indent spaces, and do a
new count using the COUNT button.

Should I COUNT text
and then Optimize, or can I just Optimize?
It's
up to you. COUNT will simply count the characters in the text, report them
and then suggest Optimizing if necessary. OPTIMIZE cleans out the extra spaces
and unreadable codes and then counts the text.

My original
text was all formatted for font, size and style, but when I pasted it into
COUNT MY TEXT! it all became Arial. What happened?
COUNT
MY TEXT! is not a word processor, it is a counting
utility. When you paste your text into COUNT
MY TEXT! it is displayed as Arial for
cross platform compatibility.

How can I change the
font displayed? I want Times New Roman, but all I see is Arial.

MY TEXT! is not a word processor, it is a counting
utility. The Arial font is a very common font for cross platform comparability.
When you paste your text (optimized or otherwise) into an Internet submission
box you can format the font there if the site allows formatting.

How can I change the
font size? I want some type to be at 14 point and other type to be at 12
point, etc.

utility. You can't change the font size or style. You can do this in the
Internet submission box, if the site allows it.

I see menu choices at the top of the screen. What are they for?

a FLASH projector. The menu controls work the FLASH projector.

I make the COUNT MY TEXT! screen larger?
Click on the normal window
expansion box or button, or use the view menu. COUNT
MY TEXT! is a FLASH program and the menus control
the way the program displays.

I clicked on the PLAY/Step
Forward choice in the program menu and the program locked up. What happened?

a FLASH projector. The
menu controls work the FLASH projector so using them you

lock up. Simply press the REWIND menu choice to re-start.

I clicked on the ZOOM
IN choice in the program menu and everything is so large I can see it. What
do I do?
The menu controls work the FLASH projector, not the program. Use the View
menu choice again and pick Full Screen.

I went to PayPal and
bought a COUNT MY TEXT!, but I forgot about clicking on the "Return to Merchant" button.
I closed my browser and didn't get the program. What do I do now?
Go to our Contact page fill out a request under the Order Questions heading.
Be sure to include your transaction number, name, the program you bought
and e-mail address where you will receive our reply. We will respond with
a link to the proper download page.

Can I pay with a credit card?
Sure. We have two vendors, Esellerate (a Digital River Company) and PayPal
(an E-Bay Company).
Esellerate will accept a number of credit cards, no problem.
PayPal processes credit cards as well as members' payments. When you click
any BUY button in this Web site you will be taken into our area at PayPal.
When you get to the ClydeSight Productions product page at PayPal, you can
either sign in as a member, or click on the credit card option. In either
case, please use a WORKING e-mail address that you normally use or can get
to easily. This is where PayPal will send your receipt.

You require payment in U.S. Dollars. Can I pay with a foreign currency?
Yes. Esellerate and PayPal convert many currencies to U.S. Dollars.

What are the shipping
costs and how long does it take to get my program?
There are no shipping costs,
the program is entirely virtual.
Esellerate will give you a download link with your receipt. The link is
valid for 30 days.
PayPal is a little different.
When you complete your payment transaction, you MUST click on the "Return to Merchant" button
(all our BUY pages tell you this) at PayPal. That brings you to the proper
page in our site to download your program. You then just click on the appropriate
download button (for Win or Mac machines) and your program will be downloaded
via your browser.

Can I get a refund?
No. We do not offer refunds

No, you must download it from
this Web site or Esellerate after payment.

I got my program and then my computer crashed and destroyed it. Can I
get a new one?

I never get any e-mails from you.
Check your junk mail (often
called "spam") filter or box. Filter
programs don't know if mail is important to you or not, and some may filter
everything out.
